BASIC REQUIREMENTS FOR TRAINER CANDIDATES
Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
Holder of a KEUNE EXPERT Card or a KEUNE Diploma issued by any official distributor.
Confident knowledge of KEUNE fundamental colour protocols.
Consistent client results and professional portfolio.
Professional communication channel with an audience (Instagram, Facebook, etc.).

Congratulations and welcome to the Keune Educator KEUNE Hair Academy Certification Program!

From this moment you become part of the KEUNE education team.

Level 1 is the entry level of the KEUNE Hair Academy Educator program. You will master the essential skills required to professionally deliver official KEUNE seminars and, immediately after completing the program, begin your teaching journey while building the foundation for the next certification levels.

WHAT IS KEUNE EDUCATOR CERTIFICATION?

Keune Educator Certification – KEUNE Hair Academy is a multi-level trainer development program.

We do not teach you how to create educational content from scratch—the KEUNE educational programs already exist.

Instead, we teach you how to deliver them professionally according to KEUNE standards:

seminar preparation;
presentation techniques;
live demonstrations;
practical workshops;
group management;
questions & answers;
time management;
seminar service standards.
5 LEVELS OF KEUNE EDUCATOR – KEUNE HAIR ACADEMY

Level 1 — Junior Trainer

Professionally delivers official KEUNE Hair Academy foundation seminars according to brand standards.

Level 2 — Trainer

Independently delivers both foundation and advanced seminars, confidently manages practical workshops and participant groups without mentor support.

Level 3 — Expert Trainer

Technical and product expert capable of delivering advanced educational formats, masterclasses and handling complex technical situations.

Level 4 — Head Trainer / Master Trainer

Regional education leader responsible for mentoring Levels 1–3, maintaining educational standards and developing Academy programs.

Level 5 — International Trainer

International KEUNE educator certified by the KEUNE Global Academy in the Netherlands and representing the brand worldwide.

HOW DOES LEVEL 1 WORK?

Level 1 consists of three steps.

STEP 1 — Introduction + Starter Seminar (2 Days)

Format:

Initial coaching meeting + Level 1 Starter Seminar.

During this stage you will:

meet your KEUNE Hair Academy coach;
define your educational goals;
receive your first educational knowledge;
complete the two-day Starter Seminar.
STARTER SEMINAR (2 Days)
Objective

To transform an experienced hairdresser, colourist or stylist into a Junior Trainer (Level 1) capable of delivering official KEUNE Hair Academy seminars according to KEUNE standards.

Learning Outcomes

After two days participants will be able to:

professionally open a KEUNE seminar;
confidently present every educational block without reading slides;
deliver technical demonstrations;
manage practical workshop sessions;
safely correct participant mistakes;
answer questions according to KEUNE Hair Academy standards;
manage seminar timing;
professionally conclude an official KEUNE seminar.

Starter Seminar Programme – 2 Days
The role of a KEUNE Educator and the fundamentals of professional training.
Preparation and knowledge of standard KEUNE courses.
Preparation of models and educational presentations.
Opening and professionally conducting a seminar.
Managing the group and the practical workshop.
Handling participants' questions and objections.
Time management and organisation of the entire training day.
Seminar checklist and service standards.
Trainer certification and authorisation to deliver official KEUNE seminars.
After the Starter Seminar – First Practical Experience

During the following 6–8 weeks, participants will:

conduct their first official KEUNE seminar;
collect feedback from seminar participants;
document their experience in their Level 1 Trainer Portfolio.
STEP 2 — Review Meeting (Coach Meeting)

Format: Online meeting with a coach (up to 45 minutes).

Requirement:

Completion of 2 Foundation KEUNE Courses;
Completion of 1 KEUNE Blond Seminar.
STEP 3 — Final Review Meeting

Format: Online meeting with a coach (up to 45 minutes).

Requirement:

100% completion of all Level 1 standard seminar and course materials.

Objective

To confirm that you meet the Junior Trainer (Level 1) standard and are ready to continue to the KEUNE Hair Academy Trainer Preparation Programme – Level 2.
